Importing Indian buffalo meat into the UAE

What Abu Dhabi and Dubai importers actually need: Halal body, ZAD registration, labels and a −18°C reefer — not a generic ‘beef from India’ brief.

import guide — Crestline Exports export insight cover

Indian buffalo meat entering the UAE is frozen, boneless and deglanded. Calling it beef at the port is a good way to slow clearance. The commercial name in many files is carabeef or frozen boneless buffalo.

The UAE importer registers the SKU on the federal ZAD portal. Abu Dhabi cargo is also seen by ADAFSA. Origin must send a health certificate and a Halal slaughter certificate from a body the UAE recognises (MOIAT list). Labels need slaughter or production date and expiry on frozen inner packs.

Crestline Exports supplies the three-product catalogue only. For buffalo we agree cut, trim, carton weight and marks before production. Share your importer of record and the emirate. We will not invent a local warehouse we do not operate.
